Structure of Dreams

Trimmed at the Edges

This series of paintings explores what it feels like to be human in intense, uncertain environments. Figures appear, disappear, and re‑emerge within fields of color and line, hovering between clear depiction and abstraction. Movement and flux are at the core of the series, investigating movement as a way of relating to others.

Looking at the paintings, one becomes aware of the fluidity of looking itself: where your gaze cuts off is not necessarily all there is to see, and forms often continue, overlap, or dissolve beyond the edges of first perception. The works invite viewers to recognize aspects of the body and human contact, while also stepping into a space where things remain open, unfinished, and in flux.
